personal and executive coaching
**IMPORTANT NOTE**: Thank you very much for your interest in working with Dr. Biali Haas. Unfortunately her coaching practice is full and closed to new applications at this time. This notice will be removed when space is available again in the future.
Do you feel stuck?
Are you feeling trapped, overwhelmed or unfulfilled in your work or your whole life? Have you been wanting to make changes for a while?
If you’re like many of the people I work with, you’re struggling to enjoy your work or may no longer enjoy it at all. You feel more and more stressed and irritable, and that stress is starting to spill over into your personal life.
It may be that it’s time for you to transition to a new job or career. I have helped many people navigate this type of change, and would be happy to help guide and support you through it.
On the other hand, if the root of your problem is simply excess work stress and/or burnout, the best approach may be to make key changes to both your work life and your personal life. There are multiple factors, both work-related and personal, that influence the amount of stress and distress you experience.
We would first work together on identifying the key issues are that are negatively impacting your situation. Next, we actively implement the most important, realistic, evidence-based changes that can help you to thrive and feel more fulfilled by your work (and your life) again.
If you’d like to work with me, your first step is to complete my confidential Pre-Coaching Questionnaire at the link below. You’ll receive a personal response from me in 1-2 business days.
“Susan, I can’t tell you how grateful I am for you taking the time and for your sincere interest in the success of our working together. The combination of your advanced expertise and genuine engagement in the process had more of an impact than you may realize. Your efforts were extraordinary. My companies’ growth and my personal development directly associated with the professional coaching we worked on together were both exceptional.”

I too have felt (and been) stuck in my career and my life.
I know what it’s like to suffer from poor health, low energy, high stress and eat way too much ice cream and cake to try to cope with it all. I have experienced terrible job burnout. I have also successfully transitioned my work life, building a business and career based on work that I love, that feels powerfully purposeful, fulfilling and meaningful.
I’ve had the privilege of having major media recognize my coaching work – I’ve coached people live in studio on The Ricki Lake Show, given advice to readers of Cosmopolitan magazine (via the Cosmo Quiz), advised on healthy success on The Today Show, and was an “Embrace Life Expert Coach” for Reader’s Digest Best Health.
I’ve used the same principles that I’d love to share with you in my own life (and still use them). I’d love to cheer you on as you make critical changes and long-overdue improvements to multiple different areas of your life.
“Susan Biali Haas has been an absolute blessing to me. She has the ability to listen intently and “hear” between the lines. I felt like I was being heard and understood for the first time. We were able to get to the issues at hand that I needed to focus on, to jump start my life in all areas.”

People often ask me how I’m different from other coaches. Here’s my answer:
The work we will do together is richer and deeper than a traditional coaching process. In addition to being a coach I act as an expert consultant to help you more effectively implement change. (**Please note: Even though I’m a medical doctor, working with me as your coach does not establish a doctor-patient relationship of any kind. I act as your coach, not your doctor. I do not give medical advice, nor is anything I say intended to replace medical advice from a physician or health professional. I will always direct you to your own physician if you have any physical or mental health concerns that arise during our time together.)
Many coaches work on a superficial level, focused on the basics of your goals. They help you identify obstacles and work with you to create a basic plan to achieve each goal. I use this process as a starting point, but go beyond it. In addition to drawing from my personal experience, I bring over 20 years of working with and studying human nature and behavior, psychology, motivation, workplace wellness, mental wellness and resilience.
It’s my greatest joy to share my personal and professional expertise to help you move forward. I also periodically help aspiring authors/speakers/experts to establish a platform and expand the impact of their work.
“Asking Dr. Biali Haas to be my coach during this pivotal time in my life was the best thing I could have done for myself and the result has been greater than I ever could have imagined! Our coaching sessions were extremely enjoyable and enlightening; guided by her brilliant probes, I began to understand myself in a way that made it easy for me to see my next steps. Her humour and excitement reached through the phone line and brought out these wonderful parts of me that had been buried for so long.”

Together we’ll look at your work life, your personal life, your beliefs, your challenges, and your goals and dreams from a fresh perspective, with the intention of equipping you with whatever it is you need to move forward in your life.
We can work together on a variety of different goals, based on your unique situation:
- Transitioning to a job or career that’s better suited to you
- Finding more meaningful, purposeful work, or finding more meaning and fulfillment in your current situation
- Reducing stress, overwhelm and feelings of burnout
- Developing a vision for growing your business and taking steps to move it forward
- Identifying key career objectives and what it would take to accomplish them
- Clarifying how to better handle your current work situation and be more impactful
- Establishing clear goals for what you want to accomplish in both your work life and personal life, and helping you to move toward them
Though the greatest source of frustration in your life may be your work situation, we will also work together on improving the big picture of your life and health. I want to see you thrive in your personal life, not just your work life (ultimately, the two are very closely related).
Some other things we may work on together, according to your goals and needs:
- Making choices, building habits and developing perspectives to help you feel more contented, positive and happier about your life
- Reducing feelings of anxiety and fear that may accompany significant changes and transitions
- Increasing your enthusiasm, passion and sense of purpose for your work and life
- Identifying and protecting your top life priorities, reducing overwhelm and increasing your experience of balance and accomplishment
- Taking better care of yourself mentally and physically, increasing your energy
- Nurturing your most important relationships and developing better relationship skills at work and in life (for example, working on boundary setting)
- Improving your work/life balance
As your coach, I commit to listening deeply to you, possibly more so than anyone else ever has (I hear this often from clients!).
I will be someone for you to be accountable to, to help you finally make change happen instead of just dreaming or talking about it. I will speak up and call you out when necessary, gently challenging you and drawing you out, because that’s what I’m here for. I will also openly and generously share my professional and personal knowledge and experience with you.
Finally, I promise to cheer you on, applaud every success, big or small, and will jump up and down when you have a breakthrough! I love watching you finally keeping your promises to yourself. I love seeing you succeed.
“Susan, thank you for all the support and encouragement you have given me over the past several months. I always feel motivated after our sessions and you have truly helped me to identify my goals and create an action plan to achieve them. Your positive energy and enthusiasm are inspiring!”
