These are a couple of complimentary pdf workbooks developed by mental health experts in B.C. They can help people with mild to moderate depression understand their situation better and take simple steps toward feeling better. Also great for those who wish to learn more about and understand depression. (*as always, this is not meant to replace the advice and care of your doctor or other counselling professional)
6) MINDSHIFT APP: EASY, QUICK GUIDED RELAXATION EXERCISES
This is an award-winning free app developed by Canadian experts, was designed to help people with anxiety. Even if you don’t experience anxiety, there is an excellent section within the Tools section of the app (on the home screen) called the “Chill Zone”. It contains some great audios that help you to breathe, de-stress and relax. There are various ones that you can listen to, to help yourself relax and relieve stress, such as “Calm Breathing” (just 3 minutes long).
